This is a very important part in the film as Neo is given the option to either forget everything and and live his normal life, or to learn more and challenges everything he knows. Morpheus does this by holding one pill in each hand and says
'you take the blue pill, the story ends you wake in your bed and you believe watever you want to belive' then continues to say 'you take the red pill you stay in wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit whole goes'. Neo then continues to take the Red Pill and everything changes.
The reality of were Neo was faded completely away as when he woke up in a fluid filled pod surrounded by others in a world ruled by machines. He is then ejected from the pod into a water filled pit and being weak from were he has not moved all his life he begins to drown, but is then rescued my Morpheus and taken on there ship. He then strengths himself so he can easily move around and finds out more about what 'The Matrix' really is. He is told that the year is in fact 2199 and not 1999 and then finds out that the machines control the Matrix to help them operate as they need the bioelctrical energy produced by humans. Morpheus then tells him that the Matrix was the world he believed to be true and Agent Smith was controlled by the machines to ensure people do not escape the Matrix. Morpheus explains that he is leading the rebellion against the machine 'un-plugging' those who can help and that Neo is 'the one' who has been prophesied to fight against the machines and win the war. He is then taken through intense training within the Matrix and explains that they have 'superhuman' abilities within it. Then told him they have the ability to leave and join the Matrix when they please through the use of telephones.
He is then taken to the 'Oracle' who prophesied that Neo was 'the one' but in actual fact it was Morpheus who just 'believed' he was but the Oracle told him that soon his must choose between his life or Morpheus's. When the prepare to leave the Matrix they are ambushed my Agent Smith who kills there crew member 'Mouse' who went in with them, as any damage you take in the Matrix is passed through to your physical body. Morpheus then gives himself up to save Neo and Trinty. They find out when heading towards a telephone that there Crew Member 'Cypher' double crossed them, telling the agents were they would be in return for his normal life within the Matrix back and no knowledge of what had happened to him. Cypher murders all of the Crew Members on the ship but crew member Tank manages to survive and then continues to kill Cypher and then helps them escape the Matrix. Neo then trains to become confident with his skills and then re enters the Matrix to save Morpheus.
He finds Morpheus being interrogated by Agent Smith and Neo is in a helicopter level with the room and sprays into with a heavy machine gun in an attempt to kill Agent Smith, unfortunately this fails and Agent Smith escapes but they rescue Morpheus and they Trinity and Morpheus are extracted but before Neo is extracted he is ambushed by Agent Smith and fights one of them and manages to get away. Before he find the phone to get him extracted his is challenged by all three Agent Smith's and Neo is shot and dies, but is kissed by Trinity in the physical and comes back to life, he then gets the ability to bend the laws in the Matrix he then continues to freeze the bullets then fired by the agents and continues to destroy the agents.
The film then concludes with Neo still in the Matrix on the phone and says 'anything is possible' and will try and free everyone. He then looks up into the air and fly's up into the sky and that is what the film ends on. The big twist in the film being that he was killed and you thought 'well he wasn't the one, so maybe someone else is' but when Trinity leans over to him and says that she was told she would fall in love with the one and continued to kiss him and then your like 'ahhh he was the one' and he then comes back to life and kills the agents. I think this film worked very well as a Thriller as it had you in suspense throughout, it also had me questioning throughout wether or not this could be true and we could be in a un real world controlled by machines and we are clueless about it. Out of 5 I would rate the film... 4 out of 5.
